Many Moons

All you Merry Pranksters, how I hope you are well.

Many moons have passed, and I have quite the tale to tell.

We’ve been dancing in the water, making love, making friends.

And when this wind dies down I know this feeling won’t end

We caught this breeze five moons ago and it filled our sails

We floated with the currents, we covered many trails

We ran a-ground on this peninsula, it jutted out in our sea

And we’ve been dancing on this beach since then just as happy as can be

(ch)    So come and join the Dance Of Many Moons

It comes right from the heart so warm and true

The love of all the ages shining through. To you!!

Many Moons have come and gone so we’ll keep dancing all night long

‘Cause every new moon adds a beat. It’s in the earth beneath your feet

Dancing to the Dance of Many Moons

This place that we are at right now is very very fine

We’re all keeping happy with our bread and cheese and wine

But that breeze is picking up and it’s blowing through my hair

(Do ya Do-Wop? Do ya Be-Bop?  Do ya Hula? Do ya Hip-Hop?)

There’s a new moon coming, let’s take off to who knows where.

(Do ya Funky? Do ya Monkey? Do ya Boogie? Boogie Woogie?)

(ch)    So, come and join the Dance of Many Moons

(Do ya Reggae? Do Meringue?)

It’s right there in your heart so warm and true

(Do ya Samba? Do ya Rumba?)

The love of all the ages shining through.

(Do ya Twist-y? Do ya Shimmy?)

My gate will always swing open for you.

(Do Watusi, loosey goosey!)

Come join in the Dance of Many Moons.

(Do ya Groovy? Tootie Fruity?
